In this cabling drawing it can be seen the
connections between the main components
of the heating system.
Due to the physical printer structure, an
interconnect is required between the lines
coming from the Power Control PCA and
the heating elements.
Note the green line in the diagram, this
cable goes across all these intermediate
connectors which allow you to detect if any
of them are disconnected.
Also it can be seen that there are two
thermal switches that can cut the power
flowing to the heaters if there is an over
temperature.
