Removal & Installation
21. Remove the Carriage Stopper Screw (T-20) from the
Chassis.
22.Remove the Carriage Stopper from the Printer.
23.Slide the Carriage Assembly (including the belt) to the
right and out of the Printer.
24.If the Carriage Assembly is to be replaced, make sure
that you remove the Belt, the Carriage PCA, Color
Sensor, Encoder and Line Sensors and the Cutter
Assembly (in order to install them on the new Carriage
Assembly).
NOTE: After installing the NEW Carriage
Assembly, perform the following:
• “5.5.1 Scan-Axis Calibration” ⇒ See
page 213.
• “5.6.1 Line Sensor Calibration” ⇒ See
page 217.
• “5.6.2 Primer Calibration” ⇒ See
page 220.
• “3.3 substrate Path Sensors” ⇒ See
page 138.
• Reset the life counters for the following:
• “4.6.1. Carriage cycles” ⇒ -200
• “4.6.4 Cutter cycles” ⇒ -200
• “4.6.6. Carriage lubrication” ⇒ -200
