1.
Power down the server (on page 6).
2.
Remove the server from the rack (on page 6).
3.
Remove the primary access panel (on page 7).
4.
Disconnect any internal or external cables connected to any existing expansion boards.
5.
Remove the PCI riser board assembly.
Install the PCI riser board assembly
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server and
remove all AC power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser board assembly.
1.
Install the PCI riser board assembly.
2.
Connect any internal cables for expansion boards.
3.
Install the primary access panel.
