Remove the following screws that secure the base enclosure to the computer:
(1) Three Phillips PM2.0×7.6 screws (two on the front edge of the computer and one in the middle
of the computer)
(2) Two Phillips PM2.0×3.6 screws in the optical drive bay
(3) Three Phillips PM2.0×3.6 screws in the battery bay
8. Lift the rear edge of the base enclosure (1), and then swing the base enclosure up and forward
until the base enclosure detaches from the computer.
