3. Remove the board from the computer (4).

Fingerprint reader board
To remove the ngerprint reader board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the ngerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 41).
4. Remove the solid-state drive to the left of the battery (Solid-state drive on page 40).
Remove the ngerprint reader board:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (2).
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the ngerprint reader board (3).
