7. Grasp the top cover by the hole in the optical disk drive/upgrade drive bay and lift up the front
edge of the top cover (1).
8. Remove the top cover from the base enclosure (2).
9. If it is necessary to replace the TouchPad:
a. Lift the adhesive tape (1), lift and release the TouchPad cable from the opening in top cover
(2), and then release the TouchPad cable (3).
b. Remove the three screws (1) securing the TouchPad to the top cover.
c. Release the TouchPad from the front clip (2) securing the TouchPad to the top cover.
