4. Remove the battery from the computer (4).
To replace the battery, reverse the removal procedures.

Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 28).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 29).
Remove the speakers:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable (1) for each speaker from the system board.
2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) from each speaker.
