Toconnecttoahostconsole,useoneofthefollowingmethods:
AccessingiLO2WithDHCPEnabled.UsetheOnboardAdministratoriLO(OA/iLO)
networkportontherearoftheenclosure.IftheOA/iLOnetworkportontheenclosureis
connectedtoalocalnetworkthathasa DHCPserver,youriLO2MPIPaddressis
automaticallygeneratedbythe
DHCPserver.TheserverbladeisfactorysetwithDHCP
enabled.
AccessingiLO2WithNoNetworkConnection.UsetheRS‐232portontheSUVcable.If
theenclosureisnotconnectedtoanynetwork,youmustconfiguretheserverbladethrough
theRS‐232serialconsoleportontheSUVcable.

1. ConnectaLANcabletotheiLO/OAnetworkportontherearoftheenclosure.The
followinggraphicshowsbothavailableenclosuresfortheBLc‐Classserverblades.

2. ConnecttheLANcabletoalocalnetworkthathasaDHCPserver.
3. SelectBladeorPortInfoontheLCDdisplaypanelonthefrontoftheenclosure.
4. SelectBladeInfo,selecttheappropriateserverblade,andwritedowntheiLO2MPIP
address.
