Adding More Users To Your Network
You can add more users to your network by joining two or more
hubs together using either thin coaxial cable or twisted-pair cable.
Using Thin Coaxial Cable
You can connect up to 30 hubs together on a common thin coax
segment. The following illustration shows you how to attach a BNC
“T” connector and a required terminator to a hub.
The following illustration shows two hubs connected together with
a thin coax segment:
Note Each thin coaxial segment must be
terminated using a 50-ohm terminator
at each end or the devices will not be
able to communicate together.

new thin coax network
Connect to hub

Thin coax segment
Minimum length: 0.5 meters.
Maximum length: 185 meters.
