SECURE WEB For configuration management, specify
whether the embedded Web server will
accept communications using HTTPS
(Secure HTTP) only, or both HTTP and
HTTPS.
● HTTPS REQUIRED: For secure,
encrypted communications, only HTTPS
access is accepted. The print server will
appear as a secure site.
● HTTPS OPTIONAL: Access using either
HTTP or HTTPS is permitted.
DIAGNOSTICS A Jetdirect Diagnostics menu provides tests
to help diagnose network hardware or
TCP/IP network connection problems.
LOOPBACK TEST CAUTION: This test will erase your TCP/IP
configuration.
An internal loopback test will send and
receive packets only on the internal network
hardware. There are no external
transmissions on your network.
The test will run continuously until either the
printer is turned off, or an error occurs and a
diagnostic page is printed.
At the EXECUTE prompt, select one of the
following:
● YES: The loopback test will be initiated.
● NO: The loopback test will not be initiated.
