4. On the replacement scanner assembly, feed the control-panel cable and wire harness through the
access hole (callout 1), and then lay the wire harness into the channel (callout 2).

5. Carefully push the control-panel cable into the channel over the wire harness.
CAUTION: Make sure that the wire harness is fully seated into the channel before installing the
cable. Do not pinch the wire-harness wires between the channel and the cable.
