6. Make sure that the metal strip (callout 2) along the edge of the float is next to the white backing
when you reinstall the float. Push down on the float until the clips snap over the locking tabs at
each end of the float.

Tip When the float assembly and springs are correctly reinstalled, the float should freely
move up and down when you push on it with your finger.
