Turn the printer off and then
on.
Check the power cord
connections and the power
switch.
Plug the printer into a

Try testing the ac power
with a known operating
device.
Troubleshoot the low-
voltage power supply. Make
sure that all of the wire
harness connections are
fully seated between the
LVPS and the engine.

control-panel
button to see if
the printer
responds.
Adjust the
contrast dial
on the control
panel.
Turn the
device off and
then on.
Troubleshoot
the control
panel. Check
the wire
harness
connectors at
the control-
panel and
formatter.
Turn the
device off,
reseat the
formatter, and
then turn the
device on.

selected at the
device control
panel.

off and then on.

the most recent
firmware is
being used.
