3 x 500 paper deck lifter-drive assembly
This procedure describes removing the paper deck cassette 1 lifter-drive assembly. Use this procedure for
any of the paper deck lifter assemblies.
1. Remove the 3 x 500 rear cover. See
3 x 500 rear cover on page 225.
2. Disconnect two connectors (callout 1).

3. Remove all of the cassettes, remove three screws (callout 1), release one tab (callout 2), and then
remove the cassette lifter assembly (callout 3).
