Option ROM Configuration for Arrays
Before installing an operating system, you can use the ORCA utility to create the first logical drive, assign
RAID levels, and establish online spare configurations.
The utility also provides support for the following functions:
• Reconfiguring one or more logical drives
• Viewing the current logical drive configuration
• Deleting a logical drive configuration
• Setting the controller to be the boot controller
If you do not use the utility, ORCA will default to the standard configuration.

ProLiant MicroServer Insight Diagnostics
The ProLiant MicroServer Insight Diagnostics utility displays information about the server hardware and
tests the system to verify proper operation. The utility can be accessed through the HP website
(http://www.hp.com
).

MicroServer Remote Access Card
The HP MicroServer remote access card is a standard component of selected HP MicroServer that
provides server health and remote server manageability. HP MicroServer remote access card includes a
dedicated network interface. This design makes HP MicroServer remote access card independent of the
host server and its operating system. The HP MicroServer remote access card provides remote access to
any authorized network client, sends alerts, and provides other server management functions.
Using HP MicroServer remote access card, you can do the following:
• Remotely power up, power down, or reboot the host server
• Send alerts from HP MicroServer remote access card, regardless of the state of the host server
HP Integrated Virtual Floppy and CD-ROM drives
HP MicroServer remote access card provides diskette drive and CD-ROM drive functionality through the
HP MicroServer remote access card Virtual Floppy and CD-ROM features.
