ENABLE DATAVOLS
ZTMF-TKN-NotVolumeName
specifies the name of a disk volume that is not to be added to the TMF
configuration as a data volume. This token is optional; multiple occurrences are
allowed.
This token is often used with a wild-card value for ZTMF-TKN-VolumeName to
exclude certain volumes from being reenabled. It can also be used with an explicit
list of volumes.
Tokens in Response Buffer
ZTMF-TKN-VolumeName
specifies the data volume(s) specified in the command buffer.
Usage Guidelines
Only super-group users can issue this command. TMF must be started.
The ENABLE DATAVOLS command places one or more data volumes in a state from
which they can be automatically restarted and recovered, if they can be accessed by
TMF.
The ENABLE DATAVOLS command succeeds only if the volumes listed are in the
disabled state; that is, they must be either disabled-clean or disabled-dirty.
If the disk volume is currently up (PUP UP) when the ENABLE DATAVOLS command
is issued, TMF immediately restarts it. If the volume is down (PUP DOWN) when the
ENABLE DATAVOLS command is issued, TMF puts it in the down state and restarts it
immediately the next time it does come up.
