START TMF

The START TMF command fails if one of the following conditions occur:

The master audit trail is not configured.

A wild card audit trail is not configured.

An audit trail has not been defined for a disk process.

An audit trail requires an audit dump process that has not been configured. An
audit dump process is configured but is not required by any audit trail.

An audit dump process is configured but labeled-tape support for the NonStop
OS is not enabled.

A previous START TMF command has already been issued.

A STOP TMF command is in progress.

A failure has occurred that requires the system to be cold-loaded before TMF
can be restarted.
