ExpressCard slot Supports optional ExpressCard/54 cards.

Optical drive Reads optical discs, and, on select models, also writes to
optical discs.

Optical drive light Blinking: The optical drive is being accessed.

USB port (select models only) Connects an optional USB device.
(5)
Power connector Connects an AC adapter.

Component Description
Vent Enables airflow to cool internal components.
NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It is normal
for the internal fan to cycle on and off during routine
operation.
