6. Remove the four Phillips M2.5×5.7 screws that secure the display assembly to the keyboard/top cover.
7. Swing the keyboard/top cover (1) up and back until the display hinges release from the keyboard/top cover.
8. Separate the keyboard/top cover (2) from the display assembly.
9. If it is necessary to replace the display panel assembly or any of the display assembly subcomponents:
a. Insert a case utility tool (1) or similar thin, plastic tool into the top edge of the display panel assembly.
