Do not connect the USB cable until prompted; follow wired and wireless setup instructions.

Remove all tape from the device and protective film from the display.
Open the device and clear all internal packaging materials.
Connect the power cord and adapter to the device and power source.
Press the power button to turn on the HP All-in-One.
If prompted, select your language and country/region.
Open the ink cartridge access door and raise the gray latch.
Remove printhead, avoid touching contacts, and prevent scratching.
Hold printhead upright, align blocks, and lower into device.
Slowly lower the latch to secure the installed printhead.
Remove plastic wrap by pulling the orange tab and twist off the cap.
Turn, slide, and press ink cartridges into their slots until they click.
Close the ink cartridge access door to begin the initialization.
Lift the output tray and slide the paper-width guide to the left.
Insert plain white paper into the main tray and adjust paper guides.
Lower the output tray after loading paper.
Lift the photo tray lid to access the photo paper slot.
Load photo paper glossy side down and adjust guides.
Lower the photo tray lid after loading photo paper.
Lift up the paper catch to receive printed output.
Press OK after loading paper to print the alignment page.
Press OK after the alignment page prints to complete the process.

Turn on PC, insert CD, follow prompts, connect USB when prompted.
Connect USB cable, insert CD, double-click HP Photosmart CD icon, run Installer.
Connect Ethernet cable from device to router, then install software.
Locate and write down wireless router Network Name (SSID) and WEP/WPA passphrase.
Press Setup, navigate to Network, then select Wireless Setup Wizard.
Select your network name or enter it manually using the visual keyboard.

Check network name, signal strength, interference, and power cycle router.
Ensure connection, run Wireless Setup Wizard, or disable security software.
Re-enter WEP/WPA keys carefully, checking for case sensitivity and spaces.
Load photo paper into the photo tray.
Insert camera memory card into the appropriate slot.
Navigate the Photo menu, select, and view desired photos.
Display photo options, preview the selected photo, and print it.
