Using a T-15 Torx screwdriver, remove the hard drive cage.
6. Using a T-15 Torx screwdriver, remove the non-hot-plug hard drives.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless
all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To replace the components, reverse the removal procedures.
Air baffle
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 25).
2. Do one of the following:
o Open or remove the tower bezel, as needed ("Bezel" on page 27).
o Remove the server from the rack (on page 26).
