Powering on the server
Power on the server after connecting the cables.
1. Poweronserverbypushingthepowerbutton(1). ThepowerLED
(2) illuminates green.

2. When the server powers on, an installation progress screen is
displayed. The installation process takes approximately 10 to 15
minutes to complete and the server will reboot twice. No user
interaction is required.
CAUTION:
Do not interr u pt the installation process; when the
installation sequence is complete, the system prompt
appears.
3. By now you should have determined the access method for your
storage server. For more information, see "Deciding upon a network
access method"onpage14.
