Describes the duplexer unit for automatic two-sided printing.
Remove orange tape and all packing material from the duplexer unit.
Turn off the printer and ensure the correct right-angle power plug is used.
Remove the cover from the duplexer slot located at the back of the printer.
Insert the duplexer unit fully into the slot using both hands.
Power on the printer after the duplexer has been successfully installed.
Configure the printer driver on the host computer to recognize the duplexer.
Print a configuration page to confirm the duplexer is recognized as an installed accessory.
Consult support flyer or visit HP.com for troubleshooting and product information.
Select duplex or two-sided printing from your program or printer control panel.
