What is the logic behind the HP ZBook Mobile Workstation industrial design?
The HP Mobile Workstation team chose a bold hematite and graphite color combination that represents power,
performance, and high-end aesthetics. This color combination is used across many other commercial platforms, but the
HP ZBooks have unique design elements. One design element unique to HP ZBooks is the soft-touch paint border
around the A-cover of the unit. This soft-touch paint provides added aesthetics and is applied to “high trac” areas that
might otherwise be exposed to excessive ngerprint smudging. The wedge design provides necessary thermal support,
optimal I/O locations, and a more ergonomic experience during standard typing and usage.
