To remove a hard drive drawer component:
1. Extend the hard drive drawer (see “Extending the hard drive drawer” (page 19)).
CAUTION: To avoid data loss, be sure that the drives are labeled and returned to the
same bays from which they were removed.

2. As appropriate, remove the hard drive blank or hard drive.

To replace the hard drive or hard drive blank:
1. Locate the hard drive or hard drive blank.
NOTE: The hard drive to be used in the chassis must be a compatible hard drive. See
the D6020 QuickSpecs for more information.
