Searching for a place of interest
You can search for a name of an establishment, street, or city. Suggested matches
from the database, footprints, and previously searched items are displayed.
1. In Locations, press the button.
2. Tap Locations.
3. Enter the place you want to search for. Matching establishments are shown
sorted by the distance from your current location.
4. If you don't see what you're looking for, tap to expand the search.
5. Tap an establishment to get directions, show on map, and more.
Searching for an address
1. In Locations, press the
button.
2. Tap Address.
3. Enter the city or street name you want to find in the search box. For example, to
find “321, Church Street, London, UK”, just enter “Church” or “London” to start
your search.
You can also search by entering a zip code.
Matching streets are then displayed.
4. Tap the street that you're looking for.
5. From the available options, choose to show on map, get directions, and more.
Choosing the map to search from
By default, Locations will search on the preloaded or your downloaded country map.
You can set the app to search on a different country map.
1. In Locations, press the
button.
2. Before performing your search, tap the Current search region box and then
choose the country that you want.
If you don't have a downloaded map of that country, Locations will search on its
online map.
