Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your
device’s features when you are on an airplane or
in any other area where making or receiving
calls or data is prohibited.
X Press and hold the Power Key, and then tap
Airplane mode.
While in Airplane Mode, the Status Bar will
display .
• To turn Airplane Mode off, press and hold
the Power Key, and then tap Airplane
mode again.

Protecting Device with Screen
Lock
You can further secure your data by locking the
screen or by using a screen unlock pattern
every time device is turned on or every time it is
activated from Sleep mode.
■Locking the Screen
X Press the Power Key.
Locking the screen prevents accidental screen
touches when device is in your bag, purse, or
pocket.
