■Setting a Screen Unlock PIN/Screen
Unlock Password
You can increase the security of device by
creating and enabling a screen unlock PIN or
screen unlock password.
1. Press on the Home screen, and then
tap Settings ＞ Security
2. Ta p Set up screen lock ＞ PIN/Password
3. Enter a PIN or password, and then tap
Continue
Enter a 4- to 16-digit number for a screen unlock
PIN, or enter 4- to 16-digit password including the
alphabet for a screen unlock password.
4. Enter a PIN or password again, and then
tap OK
■Disabling the Screen Lock
To disable the Screen Unlock Pattern
1. Press on the Home screen, and then
tap Settings ＞ Security
2. Ta p Change screen lock
3. Draw your unlock screen pattern
4. Ta p None
To disable the Screen Unlock PIN/Screen
Unlock Password
1. Press on the Home screen, and then
tap Settings ＞ Security
2. Ta p Change screen lock
3. Enter the PIN/password, and then tap
Continue
4. Ta p None
