Setting the Data Roaming
You can use the packet communication during
roaming.
1. Press on the Home screen, and then
tap Settings ＞ Wireless & networks ＞
Mobile networks
2. Select the Data roaming check box
3. Ta p OK
Setting the Data Roaming Mode
Set the CDMA roaming mode to use the device
overseas.
1. Press on the Home screen, and then
tap Settings ＞ Wireless & networks ＞
Mobile networks
2. Ta p System select
3. Select Automatic
Select KDDI only for using only within Japan.

• Be aware that service may be unavailable in some
areas if you do not update the PRL.
• After updating PRL, communication is impossible
for a while.
