l ESD wrist strap
l 3-pin AC input terminal block
l Power cables (three, separately purchased)
l Network cables (two for each PD, separately purchased)
Procedure
Step 1 Verify that the router is reliably grounded.
Step 2 Wear an ESD wrist strap. Ensure that the ESD wrist strap is grounded and in a close contact
with your wrist.
Step 3 Assemble the AC power cables.
NOTE
l The power cables are connected to the AC input terminal block in the same way. The following
procedure uses one cable as an example.
l Insert the three cables into the AC input terminal block from left to right in the sequence of live wire
(RTN(+)), neutral wire (NEG(-)), and earth wire.
1. Use a wire stripper to peel about 7 mm length of insulation coating off one end of the
cable.
NOTICE
Do not cut the metal conductor of the cable when peeling insulation coating.
2. Insert the bare wire into a hole on the terminal block. Then the reed is closed to lock the
cable in the hole.
NOTICE
There must be no exposed metal part at the joints of wire holes and bare wires on the AC
input terminal block.
Step 4 Connect the AC input power cables.
