5.2.1 8ES2G (8-Port 1000BASE (RJ45) L2 Ethernet Interface Card

Card Overview
The 8ES2G can be used in industrial environments to provide gigabit Ethernet access. It is a
WSIC card with eight GE electrical interfaces, which can be connected to network devices
such as a switch.
Figure 5-4 shows the appearance of the 8ES2G.

Application
An 8ES2G card can be used in industrial environments to provide gigabit Ethernet access, as
