Figure 3-2 takes the Huawei SmartAX MT880d ADSL customer-premises equipment (CPE)
as an example of the ADSL modem on the ADSL broadband network. Other models of ADSL
modems might vary in appearance. Their interface types and cable connections, however, are
similar to those of the modem as shown in
Figure 3-2.
Figure 3-3 shows the cable connections of an ADSL broadband network after the router
is installed on the network.
