Smart Image Categorization
Gallery automatically sorts your images into categories such as portraits, food, and scenery,
so you can quickly
nd what you're looking for.
Go to Gallery > Discover to view your images organized into categories.
To remove an image from an album, touch and hold to select the image, then touch (or
for portraits).
Not all images can be removed from the category albums.
View and Set People Albums
Once you have a sucient number of images with faces, Gallery will automatically create
People albums of individuals or groups by identifying faces in your images. This will happen
when your phone is charging and the screen is o.
You can name your People albums and set the relationship of individuals with you to search
for images more easily.
1 Go to Gallery > Discover to view People albums.
2 Touch an album, go to
> Edit and name the album or set the relationship of the
individuals with you (such as Baby and Mom).
3 Touch to save your settings.
Once you have nished, you can nd a People album by entering the name in the search bar.
Group photo albums require a specic number of group photos with faces that have
already been named in People albums.
