Only trained personnel are allowed to move the UPS.   
 
Do not move the UPS by holding its mounting brackets, front panel, terminal cover, or 
monitoring module. 
 
Built-in batteries are used for 6 kVA/10 kVA standard version with standard backup time. 
Exercise caution when moving them. Prevent the UPS from falling over; otherwise, fire 
accidents may occur. Remove rings, watches, and other metal objects when you move the 
UPS with built-in batteries. 
 
Do not turn over the UPS during transportation. 
 
To prevent shocks or falls, move the UPS gently. After placing the UPS in the installation 
position, unpack it carefully to prevent scratches. 
Procedure 
Step 1  Visually inspect the UPS appearance for shipping damage. If any shipping damage is found, 
report it to the carrier immediately. 
Step 2  Move the UPS to the installation position. 
Step 3  Unpack the case. 
Step 4  Check the UPS. 
1.  Visually inspect the UPS appearance for shipping damage. If any shipping damage is 
found, report it to the carrier immediately. 
2.  Check the UPS bar code, which is at the top of the UPS, and ensure that it complies with 
the order. If there is any discrepancy, contact your local Huawei office immediately. 
3.  Check that the fittings comply with the packing list. If some fittings are missing or do 
not comply with the packing list, record the information and contact your local Huawei 
office immediately.

3.2 Single UPS Installation 
UPS installation includes mechanical installation and cable connection. 
3.2.1 Routing Cables 
Determine the installation positions and route cables. Battery boxes can be configured for a 
UPS with long backup time, either on the left or right side of the UPS. If two battery boxes 
are required, they must be installed next to each other. Figure 3-4 uses the UPS professional 
version with long backup time as an example to illustrate how to route cables. It is for 
reference only.
