  • Wireless Mode:
    1. Insert the wireless receiver into your computer's USB port.
    2. Switch the power button on the tablet to power it on.
    3. The tablet will enter sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity; switch the power button on again to wake it up.
  • Connecting to Android Phone & Tablet:
    1. Ensure your Android OS is 6.0 or later. Some models may require enabling "OTG" function in settings.
    2. Choose the correct OTG adapter from the package based on your phone/tablet's USB port type.
    3. Insert the wireless receiver into the OTG adapter, then insert the OTG adapter into your mobile phone interface.
    4. Turn on the tablet switch to establish a 2.4G wireless connection with the mobile phone.
    • Note: When wired to a phone, the tablet will reverse charge, draining the phone's battery quickly. Wireless connection is recommended for phones. The pen tablet works without a driver on phones/tablets and automatically enters phone mode, where the pen only works in the left gray area. Press keys and digital pen buttons are not supported in phone mode.

LED Indicator: Eight press keys on the Q620M have embedded LED lights that indicate battery consumption, low battery, and tablet status.

  • Power On (wired & wireless): 8 LED lights turn on sequentially, flash twice, then turn off. A battery check activates after 2 seconds, showing battery consumption for 3 seconds via the number of lights.
  • Power Off/Sleep (wired & wireless): 8 LED lights flash twice together, then turn off sequentially.
  • Battery Charge (wired): Lights turn on one by one to show charging progress. All lights turn off when fully charged.
  • Low Battery (wireless): When battery is low, lights indicating real-time consumption turn on for 3 seconds, then off. One light indicates 13% power remaining, signaling a need for charging.

Driver Installation:

  • OS Support: Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.12 or later.
  • Installation: Download the driver from www.huion.com/download. After installation, a driver icon will appear in the system tray. It will change color when the tablet is connected and recognized.
  • Precautions: Uninstall other similar product drivers (including old drivers for this product) and close all graphics and anti-virus software before installation to avoid issues.
  • Driver Page: Double-click the driver icon to open the interface. The bottom left will show "Device disconnected" or "Device connected."

Pen Basic Operation:

  • Holding the Pen: Hold it like a normal pen or pencil, ensuring easy access to the side switch with your thumb or forefinger without accidental presses.
  • Positioning the Cursor: Move the pen slightly above the active area without touching the surface; the cursor will follow.
  • Clicking: Press the pen tip on the screen to make a selection or register a click. Tap once to highlight/select, double-tap to open.
  • Moving: Select an object, then slide the pen tip across the screen to move it.
  • Side Buttons: The pen's side buttons can be customized for two different functions. They work when the pen tip is within 10mm of the tablet's active area, even without touching the surface.

Function Setting (via Driver):

  • Working Area Setting:
    • Multiple Monitors: Define the mapping between pen movement on the tablet and cursor movement on the monitor. In extended mode with multiple monitors, select the target monitor in the driver.
    • Tablet Area Mapping:
      • Full Area: Uses the entire active area of the tablet (default).
      • Screen Ratio: Sets the tablet area to a specific screen ratio (e.g., 16:9).
      • Customized Area: Allows entering coordinate values or dragging corners of a graphic to select a specific screen area.
    • Rotate Working Area: Rotate the tablet's working direction (0°, 90°, 180°, or 270°) to accommodate left- or right-handed operation.
  • Tablet Setting: Click the "⚙" icon in the upper right corner of the driver to access General settings, Hotkeys, and Updates.
    • General Settings:
      • Add App: Customize shortcut key functions for different programs. The driver automatically recognizes the active program and applies its corresponding shortcut settings.
    • Hotkeys Settings: Set a shortcut key (default: Ctrl+Alt+H) to quickly open the driver interface.

  • Pressure Sensitivity Setting: Adjust pressure sensitivity by dragging a slider up or down. A smaller value means higher pressure sensitivity (small pressure produces great pressure). Dragging down makes pressure change weaker (more pressure produces less pressure). Click the "C" button to reset to default. Adjust based on pen posture and hand size.
  • Pen Pressure Testing: Gradually apply pressure to the stylus on the screen to test pressure levels. Click the "?" button to clear all ink.
  • Pen Nib Activity Setting: Set pen nibs to "Active" or "Inactive." In "Active" mode, the digital pen functions normally. In "Inactive" mode, the pen can move the cursor but cannot perform specified actions.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning: Unplug the power cord before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use detergents.
  • Pen Nib Replacement:
    1. Rotate the pen holder anticlockwise to open the cover and take out a new nib.
    2. Insert the pen nib into the pen nib clip, tilt the pen, and pull out the old nib.
    3. Insert the new nib straight into the pen, pushing slowly and firmly until it stops.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • No pressure in graphics software but cursor moves: Uninstall other tablet drivers and close drawing software, then reinstall the Huion driver. Restart the computer after installation.
    • Pen does not work: Ensure you are using the original pen and that the driver is installed correctly.
    • Press Keys do not work: Ensure Press Keys function is enabled in the driver, keys are correctly defined, and the press lock switch is in the unlock position.
    • Computer doesn't enter sleep mode: Do not leave the pen on the tablet surface when not in use, as it keeps the computer awake.
    • Side button of the pen doesn't work: Ensure the nib does not touch the tablet surface when pressing the side button, and the distance between the nib and surface is within 10mm.
    • Side button of the pen doesn't work (USB related): Ensure the USB port is functional; if not, try another USB port.
  • Data Export and Import: The driver supports exporting and importing custom configuration data, which is useful for using different software or avoiding repeated settings.
  • General Precautions:
    • Avoid exposing the product to water or other liquids to prevent malfunction or electrical shock.
    • Do not place the tablet in unstable or high locations, especially where children can easily reach it. Prevent children from swallowing pen nibs or side switches.
    • Power off the tablet where electronic devices are not allowed (e.g., airplanes) to prevent interference.
    • Do not disassemble or modify the tablet or pen, as this voids the warranty and can cause heat, ignition, electric shock, or other damage.
    • When replacing components, ensure the repairman uses manufacturer-specified substitute components.
    • Do not insert foreign material into the USB port or any other opening of the product to prevent malfunction, burnout, or electric shock.
