1. PROPER USE
The product described is an electro-hydraulic rescue device� The equipment is de-
signed for rescuing persons or material assets following a tra󰀩c accident or natural
disaster and during other rescue missions� The rescue device must not be used to
perform lifting operations�
It must always be used in combination with HURST original accessories�
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper use� The user
bears sole responsibility for such use�
2. PRODUCT SAFETY AND PICTOGRAMS
The safety of the operator is the most important consideration in product design�
Furthermore, the operating instructions are intended to help you use HURST prod-
ucts safely
The generally applicable legal and other binding regulations pertaining to the
prevention of accidents and protection of the environment apply and are to be com-
plied with in addition to the operating instructions�
The equipment may only be operated by persons with appropriate training in the
safety aspects of such equipment, otherwise, there is a risk of injury
We would like to point out to all users, they should carefully read, understand and
follow all operating instructions before using the product�
We further recommend that you have a qualied trainer show you how to use the
product�
Read the instruction manual for the lithium-ion battery!

The operating instructions for accessories must also be taken
into account!
Please ensure that the accessories you use are designed to
withstand the maximum operating pressure of the rescue device�
Never work in a fatigued or intoxicated state!
Always use the equipment as described in the chapter “Proper
use”�
Please ensure that no body parts or clothing are caught be-
tween the moving parts�
Always hold the equipment by the handles or housing� Do not
touch the piston rods of the rescue rams!
Working under suspended loads is not permitted where such
loads are only supported by hydraulic or electro-hydraulic devic-
es� If this work is unavoidable, suitable mechanical supports are
also required�
