• Use protective gloves when you handle the saw
chain. A saw chain that does not move can also
cause injuries to a person that touches the saw
chain.
• Keep the cutting teeth correctly sharpened! Follow
our instructions and use the recommended file
gauge. A damaged saw chain or a saw chain that
has been incorrectly sharpened increases the risk of
accidents.
• Keep the correct depth gauge setting! Follow our
instructions and use the recommended depth gauge
clearance. Too large a clearance increases the risk
of kickback.
• Make sure that the saw chain has the correct
tension! If the saw chain is not tight against the guide
bar, the risk for it to come loose increases. This
leads to increased wear on the guide bar, saw chain
and drive sprocket.
• Do maintenance on the cutting equipment regularly
and keep it correctly lubricated. The risk of wear on
the guide bar, saw chain and drive sprocket
increases if the saw chain is not correctly lubricated.
