Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position and the choke is in the FULL position. Depress the primer as instructed. If the engine is flooded, wait a few minutes before restarting and avoid priming. Check that the spark plug wire is connected and replace the spark plug if it's bad. Finally, empty the fuel tank and carburetor and refill with fresh, clean gasoline if the fuel is stale or contains water. Also ensure all the fuel line is below the outlet of the fuel tank, running continuously down from the fuel tank to the carburetor, in case of a vapor locked fuel line.
