Use a portable or tractor-mounted winch and pull the
tree down.
! CAUTION!
Do not abandon a leaning, hung or lodged tree. It
must be taken down, or it can become a danger to
other people. Mark off the area if you temporarily
have to leave to get assistance.
Limbing
Limbing is removing the branches from a felled tree.
WARNING!
A majority of kickback accidents occur during
limbing. Do not use the kickback zone of the guide
bar. Be extremely cautious and avoid contacting the
log, other limbs or objects with the nose of the guide
bar. Be extremely cautious of limbs under tension.
They can spring back toward you and cause loss of
control resulting in injury.
