DRIVING
Before starting
• Read the safety instructions and information on
the location and function of the controls before
starting.
• Conduct daily maintenance before starting (see
“Maintenance schedule”.
Starting the engine
1. Lift up the cutting unit by pulling the lever
backwards to locked position (transport posi-
tion) and apply the parking brake.
4. Turn the ignition key to the start position.
3. If the engine is cold move the choke lever
backwards to its end position.
2. Move the throttle control to the middle position.
