The grass is wet. Let the grass become dry before
you cut it.
The grass is long. Start with a high cutting height and
decrease it gradually.
The tire pressure is incorrect. Do a check of the tire pressure.
Adjust the tire pressure if it is nec-
essary.
The product is operated at too high
forward or rearward speed.
Use slower speed.
The drive belt for the cutting deck
is worn or damaged.
Replace the drive belt for the cut-
ting deck.
The engine backfires when the en-
gine stops.
The throttle control is not put in the
slow position.

Transportation
Note: Close and attach the hood to the product
during transportation to prevent damage. Connect
the hood to the product with the correct tools (rope,
cord and so on).
When you move the product, put the freewheel
control in freewheeling position to disengage the
