Set
the
stitch
selector
to
symbol
1 and
sew
the
first
column
in
exactly
the
same
way
as
for
an
ordinary
buttonhole
but
with
slightly
longer
stitches.
Then turn
the
dial
to
symbol
1
again
and
sew the
first
column
once
more.
If
you
should
have
difficulty
with
the
feed,
in
crease
the
stitch
length
slightly.

length,
stop
the
machine,
with
the
needle
raised,
and
turn the
dial
to
symbol
3.
Sew
the
second
column
without
making
any
closing
bar.
Stop
with the
needle
raised
when
the
columns
are
the
same
length.
