The AutoPush functionality
The device sends sensor data to the online portal at regular intervals defined by the portal. For
the HWg-cloud.com portal, the default interval is every 15 minutes and cannot be changed by
the user.
Alarming on the portal is based on 2 functions:
• Notice Range – alarming is fully managed in the portal. Reaction time up to 15 min.
• SD SafeRange - alarming is managed in the portal, but MIN & MAX values of the Safe
Range are synchronized with the device. This helps respond to alarms faster when sensor
values pass the alarm limits.
AutoPush settings for each Sensor
AutoPush sends data to the portal faster when sensor values change by a certain amount since
the last upload. When this happens, the STE2 device automatically connects to the portal and
sends updated values for all sensors.
