4.4 Getting Service

If the computer needs service, you can:

 Take it to an IBM authorized dealer

 Call IBM for service.

When requesting service, describe the error message or problem. Error

messages help identify what service action is required and help provide

quick and efficient service to you.

Note: If the message, have the system serviced, appears on the screen,

have the following (if any) as well as the system unit serviced.

 AC Adapter

 Internal Data/Fax Modem

 Math coprocessor

 Memory Module Kit

 Rechargeable Battery

 Serial Adapter

 Trackpoint.
