|3.1.1.3 Before Using the Rechargeable Battery
|The battery is not charged at the time of shipment. Complete charging is
|essential before using. The working time of the Rechargeable Battery can
|be short if the battery is charged only once. The working time improves
|after it has been fully charged and discharged several times. This is a
|characteristic of nickel-cadmium batteries. (See page 1.4 for important
|information concerning the charging and discharging this battery.)
