1701 Hard disk(s) diagnostics fail 1. Determine if the hard disk is defined
correctly in BIOS Setup.
2. Check the hard disk drive cable/
connection.
3. Check the hard disk drive.

parameter in the Startup Options of

setting in BIOS Setup is correct.
5. Check the power to the hard disk drive.
