Inserting Paper
To ins ert paper:
Use the levers and knobs on your typewr it er to
he lp you i nse rt paper.
1. Make sure the paper
re l ease lever is all the
way back.
2. Pu ll the pa per bail forward.
3 . Pl
ace the left edge of the paper against the
paper gui de in the slot behi nd t he copy gu ide.
4. P
ress the index key (IND E X) all the way down so
that it repeats. As the key repeats, t he typewr iter
ro ll s the paper around the platen. You can also
use the platen knobs to roll paper into t he
typew
ri ter.
