Internal backup units
The server does not support internal tape drive options or other internal backup units. However, it can be
attached to the external tape drives using SAS or Fibre Channel connectivity (see Table 26).
Optical drives
The server supports the optical drive options listed in the following table. Server models with 3.5" HDDs
do not support internal optical drive; they provide a third USB port on the front for an external optical
drive.
