What to do if the ICON NordicTrack COMMERCIAL 2950 Treadmill power does not turn on?

  First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and that the surge suppressor is plugged into a properly grounded outlet. If your circuit breaker trips repeatedly when using the treadmill connected to an AFCI-equipped outlet, consider purchasing an arc filter. Also, ensure the key is inserted into the console after plugging in the power cord. Finally, check the power switch on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if it protrudes, wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it.

What to do if the ICON NordicTrack COMMERCIAL 2950 Treadmill walking belt slows when walked on?

  If the walking belt slows down when you walk on it, it might be overtightened. Remove the key and unplug the power cord. Use a hex key to turn both idler roller screws counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Then, plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the belt is properly tightened.

How to fix ICON Treadmill walking belt that is off-center or slips?

  If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left idler roller screw clockwise 1/2 turn; if it shifted right, turn the left screw counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and walk for a few minutes. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both idler roller screws clockwise 1/4 turn. You should be able to lift each edge 2-3 inches. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the cord, insert the key, and walk for a few minutes. Repeat until properly tightened.
