10. Installation
Review SECTION 6 and 6.1 (Warnings and Cautions) prior to installing
Direction of flow is indicated by an arrow on the inlet and outlet.
Note that the controller has been designed to work with clean water.
Avoid any debris in the pipeline and controller to prevent failure.
The controller can be installed in any orientation so long as the
direction of flow is respected.
Ensure maximum static head (pressure) of water above the controller is
less that the starting (cut in) pressure, otherwise the pump will not start.
See table below.
The controller is to be installed on the discharge of the pump
prior to any outlets/taps.
The controller can
be installed in any
orientation.
Fit a non-return valve on
the inlet line to prevent
pressure loss back
through the intake.
NO water can be
drawn off between
the pump outlet and
the control unit.
Connecting the
unit to the system
with flexible hose
reduces stress on
the controller.
Installation of the controller must be performed
by a suitably qualified technician.
